The claim that the world was created for the sake of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa number ( 17626 )
Q4: Many people believe that the world was created for the sake of the Prophet - (peace and blessings be upon him) -, and that without him there would be no Paradise and no Hellfire, and that he is light - meaning: he was created from light - so what do we say to them?
A4 : The belief that the world was created for the sake of Muhammad - (peace and blessings be upon him) - and that he - (peace and blessings be upon him) - was created from light, all of this is exaggeration and lying. Allah only created the creation for the sake of worshipping Him, (Glorified and Exalted is He). He the Exalted said:
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلاَّ لِيَعْبُدُونِ
[Adh-Dhariyat 51:56]
, and He the Exalted said:
created the heavens and earth in truthخَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ
[Al-An'am 6:73]
. The Prophet - (peace and blessings be upon him) - is a human being, created from what humans are created from, from a father and a mother. He the Exalted said:
Say, "I am only a man like youقُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ
[Al-Kahf 18:110]
, and Paradise
and Hellfire were created for the sake of recompense for deeds. So Paradise is the abode of the righteous, and Hellfire is the abode of the disbelievers. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
