Q: Did the blessing of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) end after his death?
A : Seeking blessing from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), his sweat, and his water of ablution was only permissible during his lifetime (peace and blessings be upon him), when it was possible to obtain these things from him. As for after his death (peace and blessings be upon him), that is not possible; because these effects ceased with his death (peace and blessings be upon him) and his departure from this world. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
