Reciting the Burdah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 17468 )
Q1: In issue ( 37 ) of your esteemed magazine, specifically in the fatwa section, in Fatwa No. ( 5783 ), it was stated that reciting the Burdah is an innovated religious innovation, and you cited the noble hadith as evidence for this, and you said that there is no reward in reciting it, but rather in some of its verses there is major shirk, such as:

up to the end of the verses. The question posed is: Where is this major shirk manifested in the verses, or in what is it manifested?
A1 : The shirk in these verses occurred because he sought refuge in other than Allah when the severity of the Day of Resurrection occurs, and seeking refuge in other than Allah is shirk; because it is a type of worship that is not permissible except for Allah, and because he attributed the world and the Hereafter to the generosity of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and this is a lie, exaggeration, and a deprivation of sovereignty from Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and from a third aspect, he attributed to the knowledge of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) the knowledge of the Preserved Tablet
and the Pen, and this describes him as knowing the unseen, and Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) said:
Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allahقُلْ لاَ يَعْلَمُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ الْغَيْبَ إِلا اللَّهُ
[An-Naml 27:65]
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
