The statement of the one who says in his oath, "By the life of my Lord"

Fatwa number ( 20432 )
Q: What is the validity of the statement of the one who says: "By the life of my Lord" , given that Ibn al-Qayyim has cited this phrase in the al-Nuniyyah al-Shafiyyah al-Kafiyyah?
A: It is permissible for a person to say in his oath, "By the life of my Lord," and there is no harm in it; because it is an oath by an attribute of Allah that is established for Him, and a person may swear by any of the names of Allah or any of His attributes. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
