What is the ruling on one who performed Hajj and did not visit al-Masjid al-Nabawi, and is visiting it among the necessities of Hajj?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : His last question says: A person performed the rituals of Hajj but was unable to go to visit al-Masjid al-Nabawi, and he traveled directly. Is it necessary for the acceptance of the Hajj that he catch up with the visit, or not?

The Shaykh : It is not a necessity of Hajj for a person to visit al-Masjid al-Nabawi, and it has no connection to Hajj. Rather, visiting the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) mosque is done at any time. However, the scholars mentioned it in the rituals of Hajj because, in the past, it was difficult for people to come to visit al-Masjid al-Nabawi, so they combined it with performing Hajj so that the journey to it would be one. Otherwise, it has no connection to the ritual. Indeed, whoever believes that it has a connection to the ritual, his belief is not correct, because that was not reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or from his Companions. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.
This question is from the listener Ahmad Muhammad Husayn from the Democratic Republic of Yemen, Aden.
