Q1: The company intends to purchase an automatic slaughter machine instead of using people ; because the numbers are very large, is this permissible?
A1: It is permissible for you to purchase the automatic machine for slaughtering animals whose meat is eaten.
Q 2: Is the invocation of Allah’s name sufficient when starting the machine, which moves with a single motion? Knowing that the invocation is made when moving the machine
for slaughter and only once?
A 2: The invocation of Allah’s name is sufficient once, by the one who moves the machine when he moves it, for several animals with the intention of slaughtering them, provided that the one who moves it is a Muslim, or a People of the Book, Jewish or Christian. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
