A 4 : Invoking the name of Allah by a recorded tape at the time of slaughter does not suffice in place of the slaughterer’s own invocation; because it is a phrase required of the slaughterer when he proceeds to slaughter to make the animal lawful, and acts of worship are based on what is prescribed, and one must adhere to the manner in which it was transmitted from Allah the Exalted and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
