Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 16838 )
Q 2: Is it permissible for a woman to recite dhikr while she is menstruating? Is it also permissible for her to apply henna to her hands while she is menstruating? Is it permissible for her to apply henna to her head while she is menstruating? I ask the Shaykh to please answer.
A 2: It is permissible for a woman to take a ghusl bath for cooling off or cleanliness while she is menstruating. Likewise, it is permissible for her to apply henna to her hands and head. The same applies to a woman with post-natal bleeding; it is permissible for her to do so. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
