Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 18952 )
Q 4: What is the forbidden bell? Knowing that there are electric bells that emit bird sounds, clock bells that strike iron against iron, and other types?
A 4: The bells used in homes, schools, and the like are permissible as long as they do not contain anything forbidden, such as resembling the bells of the Christians, or having a sound like music. In that case, they become forbidden for that reason. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
