Q 1: I was afflicted with a mental illness, and I vowed to Allah to fast for a month if I were healed, and Allah has healed me. However, since I work 9 hours a day and am unable to fast, what is the ruling? May Allah reward you with good?
A 1: It remains a debt upon you until you are able to fast it, and it is obligatory upon you
to fulfill your vow; for the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih al-Bukhari 6696 . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
