I vowed to Allah that if she recovered, I would fast a month for Allah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 10447 )
Q3: I had a sick friend, and I vowed to Allah that if she recovered, I would fast a month for Allah. This was before my marriage. In fact, Allah healed her, praise be to Allah, and I had already married. Since my marriage, I have been moving from pregnancy to breastfeeding to pregnancy, and I am no longer able to fast. What should I do?
Vol. 3: It is obligatory to fulfill the vow you made; because it is a vow of obedience, and it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Whoever vows that he will be obedient to Allah, should remain obedient to Himمن نذر أن يطيع الله فليطعه
Sahih al-Bukhari 6696
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
