She vowed to fast six days of Shawwal but did not specify the time

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 14312 )
Q 2: There is a woman whom Allah inspired with an illness, and she suffered greatly from it, which
led her to vow to Allah the Exalted that if He cured her of her illness, she would fast the first six days of Shawwal, without specifying the duration. Does she continue to fast them as long as she is alive, or does she fast them in the same year in which she made the vow? And is it permissible for her to give charity in lieu of fasting if she does not have the ability, or not?

A 2: It is obligatory for her to fulfill the vow according to her intention. If she intended to fast six days of the month of Shawwal in the year in which she made the vow, then she fasts them, and it is not obligatory for her to fast in other years. If she intended to fast the six days of Shawwal every year, then it is obligatory for her to fulfill her vow by fasting every year. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
