A son giving his father money to perform Hajj
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 9410 )
Q 1: Is it permissible for ason to give his father a sum of money so that he can perform Hajj, whether the son is financially able or not, given that the father has never performed Hajj before? And what is the ruling on one who waives his share in a shop that the father gave to his sons to work in, so that the father, who has never performed Hajj before, can perform it?
A 1: Allah has commanded kindness to parents in word and deed. Part of this kindness is giving to them and providing them with what they need to support themselves in the affairs of life, along with obedience to them in what is good. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
