What is the hadith that states there are five martyrs, one of whom is the one who dies of a stomach ailment, and what is the meaning of "the one who dies of a stomach ailment"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : His third question says: I heard a noble hadith that there are five martyrs, and he mentioned among them the one who dies of a stomach ailment. Who are the others if the hadith is authentic, and what is the meaning of "the one who dies of a stomach ailment"?

The Shaykh : Yes, this hadith is authentic. It was narrated by al-Bukhari, Muslim, and others. The others are the one who dies of the plague, the one who drowns, the one who dies under a collapsed building, and the one who is martyred in the path of Allah.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : However, the rulings for these types of martyrdom differ in this world. The one who is martyred in the path of Allah is not washed, not shrouded, and no prayer is performed over him; rather, he is buried in the clothes in which he was martyred. This is unlike these four, for it is obligatory to wash them, shroud them, and pray over them. "The one who dies of a stomach ailment" is the one who is struck by a disease of the abdomen, meaning he suffers from diarrhea or pain in his stomach.

The questioner : The plague, for example?

The Shaykh : And included in this is what is called the appendix when it bursts, and the like of that.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : So all diseases of the abdomen that are a cause of death are included in the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
The one who dies of a stomach ailment المبطون
especially those in which death is certain and imminent. Yes.
