Q: A noble hadith is reported from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), to the effect that: Whoever prays the 'Asr prayer on Friday, then sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while sitting in his place in the following manner: (O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet, and upon his family, and peace), eighty (80) times, will have eighty years of his sins forgiven, and the good deeds of eighty years of worship will be recorded for him. The author of the book mentioned that this hadith is narrated in al-Daraqutni , and that al-Hafiz al-'Iraqi said: This hadith is hasan (good). Is this hadith authentic? What is its grade of authenticity? And what is the text of this hadith if it is authentic?
