Q: Attached to your Excellency is a copy of Surat: (Yasin) and some supplications within the same Surat (Yasin). Is it permissible to read this copy and distribute it or photocopy it for some people? I ask for your guidance. May Allah reward you with good and benefit people with your knowledge.
A: It is not permissible to act upon this copy or distribute it; because of the misguidance in it regarding creed: such as seeking nearness to Allah through the prophets and the righteous, and because of the religious innovations in its supplications and the mixing of verses from the Noble Qur'an with them in order to promote falsehood and deceive people with it. It is obligatory to burn these papers and warn against them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
