Q1: My mother strongly desires that most of my clothing be green or a color close to it, which has made me dislike it, but I am unable to fulfill her wish. What should I do?
A1: You are not required to wear a specific color in your clothing; rather, one wears what is customary for men in your country, while taking care not to imitate women or disbelievers in what is specific to them, and while considering your mother’s satisfaction and not angering her, through good manners and kind words, due to the great right she has over you. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
