The Color of the Woman's Hijab and Clothing

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first and third questions of Fatwa No. ( 5089 )
Q1: Is the hijab of the Muslim woman specific to the color black, or is it general for all colors?
A1: The clothing of the Muslim woman is not specific to the color black, and it is permissible for her to wear any color of clothing, provided that it covers her 'awrah (the part of the body that must be covered), does not imitate men, is not tight-fitting in a way that outlines her body parts, is not transparent in a way that reveals what is beneath it, and is not provocative. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
