Vol. 4: The hadiths criticizing haste in giving testimony and rushing to perform it before being asked refer to those who conceal the truth of the testimony, who do not seek truthfulness in it and do not care, due to their weak faith and little fear of Allah. The hadith praising the one who gives testimony before being asked refers to the one for whom the testimony is established, who gives it before being asked to establish the truth and out of fear of it being lost, as there is no one else to testify.
