Q 2: We worked during the holiday (outside regular hours) with a group of colleagues and workers, and we received small amounts, especially the workers. We have come to find that no one is willing to work on holiday days because of the low financial compensation. When the general manager visited us, we presented the issue to him, and he asked us to increase the recorded hours to twenty hours, so that it would be satisfactory to those who complain about the small amount paid. Knowing that we did not work all these hours, is it permissible for us to take the return from the twenty hours that were paid to us, even though we did not work them?
A 2: It is not permissible for you to take from the money except according to the amount of work you provided. If the money is small and does not match the entitlement for the work,
you can review the matter with the authorities to modify the system, or you can leave the job. As for the fraud mentioned, it is not permissible. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
