The allowance paid to a disabled person if he recovers
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 17705 )
Q2: I have a brother who was afflicted with epilepsy at the beginning of his life, and he has continued to suffer from it from his childhood until now. He is (9) years old and is under treatment. He was presented to the Center for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled for the purpose of having an allowance paid to him, and a continuous allowance has actually been paid to him. However, he does not currently suffer from a harmful disability, but rather from the effects of the treatment,
so is it permissible to take the allowance for him? Knowing that he is in a good condition.
A2: What is paid to a disabled person, if the reason for the payment ceases, is referred back to the competent authority, and the procedure required by their regulations is followed. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
