The third question of Fatwa number ( 8180 )
Q3: I asked my sister for money for a pressing need, and she gave it to me. Then I asked her to forgive the debt, and she did. Do I owe anything after that?
A 3: If the situation is as you described, you owe nothing; because your obligation is cleared by her forgiveness. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
