The second question of Fatwa number ( 20304 )
Q 2: I have a maternal aunt whom I want to visit, but she has daughters. I am afraid that if I visit her, they will shake my hand. What is the ruling of the Shari'ah in this matter? Should I cut off ties with them, or how should I act?
A 2: You must visit your maternal aunt, for this is maintaining family ties. However, it is not permissible for you to shake hands with her daughters, as they are non-mahram to you. You should only greet them with words, and they should be veiled from you. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
