The intention is for them to serve as a substitute for the television set, which has become a widespread affliction. The issue is that they display images of humans and animals drawn by hand. Is it permissible to watch them? Please issue a ruling, and may Allah reward you.
A: It is not permissible to sell, buy, or use cartoon films because of the forbidden images they contain. The upbringing of children should be through lawful means, such as teaching, discipline, commanding prayer, and kind care. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
