Does the wet nurse's sister become the nursing aunt of the nursed child and become forbidden to him, and is this nursing aunt forbidden to the nursed child's brother who was not nursed by her sister?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I have a brother who was nursed by a woman more than five times, and this woman has a sister. Does this sister become the nursing aunt of my brother and become forbidden to him because he was nursed by her sister, or not? And as for me, is this woman who nursed my brother and her sister forbidden to me or not? Knowing that I was not nursed by her at all?

The Shaykh : Your brother, who was nursed by this woman five times or more before weaning and the age of two, becomes her son. Accordingly, her sister becomes his nursing aunt, and it is not permissible for him to marry her. This is based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful. يحرم من الرضاع ما يحرم من النسب
Sunan Ibn Majah 1937Sahih (Darussalam)
. Just as your maternal aunt by blood is not permissible for you and is your aunt, so too is your maternal aunt by nursing not permissible for you and is your nursing aunt.
As for you, the ruling of nursing does not extend to you, because nursing does not extend from the nursed person to anyone other than the nursed person and his descendants. As for his brothers, fathers, and mothers, the prohibition does not extend to them. Accordingly, it is permissible for you to marry the woman who nursed your brother, and it is permissible for you to marry her sister as well, and it is permissible for you to marry her daughter, who is your brother's nursing sister.
The important point is that the rule in this chapter is: nursing does not extend to the nursed person except to him and to his descendants, male and female, and their children, however far down the line. As for his fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, paternal uncles, paternal aunts, maternal aunts, and maternal uncles, the prohibition does not extend to them. The reason the prohibition does not extend to them is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful. يحرم من الرضاع ما يحرم من النسب
Sunan Ibn Majah 1937Sahih (Darussalam)
. You have no relationship with this woman who nursed your brother; she is not your mother, nor your nursing aunt, nor your sister, nor your paternal aunt. Therefore, there is no relationship between you and her, and the same applies to the rest of the nursed person's relatives other than his descendants.
As for his descendants, nursing does extend to them, because the woman who nursed their father is their nursing grandmother, and her sisters are nursing aunts to the nursed person. A man's nursing aunt is the nursing aunt of his descendants, just as a man's paternal aunt is the paternal aunt of his descendants. And Allah knows best.
