A woman breastfed a kid; is it permissible to eat it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 10522 )
Q: His sister gave birth to a child who died immediately. They had livestock, including camels, sheep, and others. One of the goats died,
leaving behind a kid (sukhl). This woman, who is the man's sister, breastfed that kid
for several days. When it grew up and became a male goat, it would go to that woman and sometimes lie down beside her. He said: I am confused about my situation. Should I slaughter it? Is it permissible to eat its meat, or is it permissible for him to sell it? I hope you will answer this question after reviewing it, and what is the ruling in this matter?

A : There is no harm in dealing with that animal by slaughtering it, selling it, or the like. The breastfeeding and lying down mentioned have no effect on the permissibility of dealing with it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
