Eating the slaughtered animals of the People of the Book despite their disbelief and shirk

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 3591 )
Q 2: Eating the slaughtered animals of the People of the Book despite their disbelief and shirk Or is the intended meaning those among them who do not associate partners with Allah, do not disbelieve in Muhammad or his message, but only deny the message sent specifically to them and adhere to their own religion?
A 2: It is permissible to eat their slaughtered animals absolutely, even if they associate Christ with Allah in worship and disbelieve in Muhammad and his message absolutely, whether to them or to others; due to the generality of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for themوَطَعَامُ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ حِلٌّ لَكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلٌّ لَهُمْ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:5]
And because they used to say: "Allah is the third of three," and they worshipped three gods, and among them were those who denied the message absolutely at the time of the revelation of the Qur'an,
and yet He did not exclude a group from another regarding the permissibility of their slaughtered animals. Allah the Exalted said:
They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Maryلَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:17]
And He said:
They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the third of three."لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلاثَةٍ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:73]
the verse, and He said:
The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah."وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ عُزَيْرٌ ابْنُ اللَّهِ وَقَالَتِ النَّصَارَى الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ اللَّهِ
[At-Tawbah 9:30]
the verses. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
