Q2: I have sheep that graze on vegetation growing along the irrigation channels. Is it lawful or forbidden, and do they drink from the channel water?
A2 : If sheep drink impure water and eat impurities, and that constitutes the majority of their drink and food, then it is not permissible to drink their milk or eat their meat;Sahih al-Bukhari 4218 — which are those that feed on impurities — until they are confined for three days and fed pure food. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
