The employment of some non-Muslim workers in restaurants and their direct involvement in cooking

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 21046 )
Q: Some branches of the Kingdom are inquiring about the employment of some non-Muslim workers in restaurants and their direct involvement in cooking, given that their dishonesty cannot be ruled out.
Vol. 10: It is permissible to eat from the foods of the disbelievers that do not contain anything forbidden, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate from the food of the Jews, and it is a condition for those other than
the People of the Book that they do not perform the slaughter themselves, but it is not permissible to hire disbelieving workers in the lands of the Muslims, especially in the Arabian Peninsula where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered them to be expelled, and there are sufficient Muslim workers available, with the permission of Allah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
