He was herding sheep as a child, so he slaughtered one of them in play and claimed that it had died

The first and fifth questions of the fatwa number ( 20948 )
Q 1: Ifmy grandfather was entrusted with a flock of sheep, and my father was the one who grazed them while he was young, before the age of puberty, as far as I know, and one day he slaughtered one of them, and he did not benefit from it, neither by eating it nor otherwise, but it was just a kind of play. Then he told my grandfather: "That sheep has died," and they informed the owner of the sheep that the sheep had died, and the owner accepted the matter, but they did not tell him the truth. Now my grandfather and my father have passed away (may Allah have mercy on them both). What should I do? If he owes something, how does he pay it? From where and how is it to be spent? And I do not know the owner of the sheep. Please give us a ruling, and may Allah reward you.
A 1: If you do not know the owner of the sheep, give its value in charity on his behalf from your father's inheritance or your own money, and you will be rewarded for that, if Allah wills.
