The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 16748 )
Q 4: There is a Muslim doctor, a Christian female doctor, and a Hindu female doctor. Which doctor, male or female, should examine my wife and daughters?
Vol. 4: A woman treats a woman, whether she is Muslim or non-Muslim, and it is not permissible for a man who is not a mahram (a relative one may not marry) to treat a woman except in cases of dire necessity when no other female doctors are available. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
