Q1: What is the ruling on consuming: smoking , tea, coffee, and taking stimulant or sleeping pills?
A1: First: Smoking is forbidden because of the harms it contains. Second: There is nothing wrong with drinking tea and coffee, as they are among the permissible beverages. Third: It is not permissible to take stimulant or sleeping pills, because of the harms they cause to the user and the dangers they pose to others in society.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
