Is milk rendered impure?
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 20049 )
Q1: Does milk and other liquids have the same ruling as water if they come into contact with
impurity?
A1: Milk and other liquids, if impurity falls into them, have the same ruling as water. They become impure if their color, taste, or smell changes due to the impurity. Likewise, if the liquid is small in quantity, it becomes impure when impurity falls into it, even if there is no change. In that case, it is forbidden to drink or use it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
