I am aware that I was extremely remorseful, and Allah knows that, and out of fear of the sin, I ask you to advise me on what I should do, whether fasting or charity, to be rid of the sin that will befall me from Allah, the Exalted. hope you will be kind enough to submit my petition through your excellence to the Mufti of the Saudi lands so that I can complete the necessary steps regarding what will be decided, and I await your order on what you see fit. May Allah guide you to good deeds and preserve you.
A: It is obligatory for you to pay the expiation; because you are considered the cause of the killing due to your negligence in not securing the car’s parking. The expiation is freeing a believing slave, and if you do not find one, then fast two consecutive months. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
