I washed the kitchen with Flash, and my child suffocated

Fatwa number ( 19686 )
Q: I am a woman who was pregnant about seven years ago, in my seventh month. I washed the kitchen with Flash, and I smelled the Flash (for toilets) without knowing what it was or what its harms were. Then it caused some harm to me and the fetus. After that, I went to the hospital, and then I became weak and gave birth in the eighth month. The fetus was weak, and they said: we will perform an operation on him. They insisted on me several times because he urgently needed an operation. Then I agreed and signed for the operation for him, and the child died after the operation was performed. Do I have to fast or pay a ransom because I signed for the operation? Please advise us, may Allah reward you with good.
A: If the situation is as you described, then there is nothing upon you, if Allah wills, regarding the harm to the child due to smelling the Flash; because the original ruling is the permissibility of using it in what you mentioned, and the occurrence of harm from it is not certain. The original ruling is the innocence of the conscience until the contrary is proven. There is also nothing upon you regarding signing for the operation for him; because you were not negligent or the cause of his death, but rather you did so for his benefit and seeking his cure.
