If one intends divorce but does not utter it or use a euphemism for it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 8501 )
Q3: When a husband intends to divorce his wife for a certain reason but does not divorce her, is she considered divorced in this case, or is it necessary to utter the words of divorce?
A3: The mere intention of divorce does not constitute a divorce; rather, what constitutes it is the wording that indicates it, and what is equivalent to it in writing or the like. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
