Q: Please explain to us the Sunnah method of divorce; for there is much disagreement regarding it here among us?
We ask you to issue a ruling, may Allah reward you, and all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
A: The Sunnah method of divorce is: that a man pronounces a single divorce during a period of purity in which he did not have intercourse with her.
