Driving a car, he fainted and hit a camel; his father died as a result

Fatwa number ( 8778 )
Q: As I told you before, I was driving the car with my father, my mother, my wife, and my children on our way to al-Ta'if from Riyadh . We were approaching the village of Dhulm , and we intended to perform the 'Isha' prayer there. The car's speed was, to the best of my knowledge, about 100 km/h, and Allah knows best. I suspected, and Allah knows best, that if I had been going faster than that, the car would have overturned, because when I regained consciousness from the faint, I found the car heading toward Riyadh , and because I lost control of the car
due to my fainting. My father died as a result of this accident
, and Allah kept the others safe. The car's roof was torn off as a result of my passing between the camel's four legs. For your information, no one from the traffic department came to investigate the accident due to their negligence at that time. So I did not blame anyone, and no heir demanded my father's blood money, either out of ignorance or out of leniency, and Allah knows best. I have remained silent, praise be to Allah, for two consecutive months. Do I owe my father's blood money? Knowing that my father died leaving a wife and three daughters (and I am the driver of the car), a full brother of my father, and two full sisters, what is the share of each of these people, specified in Saudi riyals, from the blood money? Also, my father had property consisting of real estate and farms; am I excluded from the inheritance or not? And if I am excluded, do my father's full brother and full sisters inherit from the property along with the others? Then, my mother passed away years after the accident, and I did not give her her share of the blood money because of my ignorance of the ruling. What must I do with it? Do I distribute it among her heirs, including myself, or do I distribute her share to the poor and needy as charity on her behalf? And do I inherit from her, or am I also excluded? Please give us a ruling, may you be rewarded. May Allah reward you with the best reward and make Paradise your abode.

A: First : If the situation is as you described, then the blood money and expiation are obligatory upon you. If any of the heirs waives his share of the blood money and he is of sound mind, it is dropped from you.
Second : The blood money is given to the heirs of the deceased. If your father has no heirs other than those you mentioned, the wife gets one-eighth of the blood money and his estate, the daughters get two-thirds of his blood money and estate, and the remainder goes to the full brother and the two full sisters, the male receiving the share of two females. This is after settling his debts, if he had any, and executing his lawful bequest, if he made one. As for the killer, he does not inherit from the blood money or the estate along with them. Third : Your mother's share of your father's blood money and any other property he left is divided among her heirs after settling her debts and executing her lawful bequest, and you are one of her heirs. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
