The marriage of a wife’s sister to a man’s son from a previous wife

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 12016 )
Q: There is a man who married a girl who has a sister thirteen years old. The man also has a son from a previous wife who is thirteen years old. He proposed to the younger girl for his son, and her father agreed. He wants to contract the marriage for his son now without consummation, postponing consummation until the young man reaches fifteen years of age, so that no one else will propose to her. This is with the intention of uniting both families. Is this permissible? May Allah guide you.
A: If the matter is as described, it is permissible to contract the marriage of the wife’s sister to the man’s son from the previous wife. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
