Q1 The wife of my brother’s son, the wife of my daughter’s son, and the wife of my sister’s son: are these wives mahram to me or not? And is my sister’s son’s daughter a mahram to me or not?
A1 The wife of your brother’s son and the wife of your sister’s son are not among your mahram;
because they are strangers to you. As for the wife of your daughter’s son, she is among your mahram; because she is one of the wives of sons mentioned in the saying of Allah the Exalted: . And your sister’s son’s daughter and your sister’s daughter’s daughter are among your mahram; because you are the maternal uncle of her father or the maternal uncle of her mother. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
