The wife must cover herself in the presence of her husband's adult brother

Fatwa number ( 14008 )
Q: I have a brother from both parents who lives with us. He is twenty-one years old and unmarried. We are all living with my father, and I am unable to ask my father to give me an apartment for myself, because I respect him and value him, and I am afraid he will be angry with me if I ask him for that. He interprets it as me not
wanting to live with him. Also, he interferes in my affairs with my wife. For example: I do not take her to her family's house without my approval. Also, he takes the entire salary and does not give me anything except my own expenses. As for the household expenses, we are equal. I ask Allah, then you, to inform me: Is it permissible for my brother to see my wife on the basis that he lives with us in one apartment? Is it permissible for my father to interfere in my affairs with my wife? Can he hold me accountable for when I take her out and when I do not? Is it permissible for him to take my entire salary? I ask you to give my father specific advice so that he is convinced of all this. And if I am the one who is wrong, I ask you to convince me. May Allah reward you with the best reward.
A: First: It is obligatory for you to be dutiful to your parents, to be kind to them, and to obey them in what is good. Second: It is obligatory for you to order your wife to cover herself in the presence of your brother. It is not permissible for her to uncover her face in his presence, nor to be alone with him. Third: You and your father should agree on the household expenses. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
