Q: A man wrote a book titled (The Hijab of the Muslim Woman in the Book and the Sunnah). The author's name is Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani , and the book has become, or is on the verge of becoming, a fitnah here among the ignorant who had covered their wives before seeing the book. In fact, they have now uncovered the faces of their women in the streets and markets, citing this book as their evidence. I, Muhammad Ibrahim Sisi , bear witness with Allah that I have presented to them the evidence from the Qur'an and the Hadith regarding the weakness of the evidence of Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani . I said to them in my sermon: It is obligatory for Muslim women to observe hijab, even in the home, from non-mahram men, and they must not display their adornment except to the twelve categories mentioned in Surat al-Nur, which includes what is mentioned in Surat al-Ahzab. These are five attributes added to them in Surat al-Nur, based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:[An-Nur 24:30-31],
the verse from Surat al-Nur. I also mentioned to them the benefits of the jilbabs and their names, which call Muslims to the hijab of their women: 1 - The master of garments. 2 - The warmest of garments. 3 - Reducing going out. 4 - Obscurity of identity. 5 - A cover as requested for complete adornment. 6 - A hidden protection, including the handkerchief, the head covering, the shirt, and the cloak. 7 - Beloved by Allah the Exalted and faith in Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He. 8 - Verification of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). 9 - A hijab from non-mahram men. 10 - A barrier against the forbidden. 11 - A negation of jealousy. 12 - A distinction between the free woman and the slave woman, and between the Sunni and the innovator, and between the believing women and the women who associate partners with Allah. 13 - A negation of boasting. 14 - The garment of Hajar , the wife of Isma'il (peace be upon him and upon our Prophet Muhammad), and a deterrent for the ignorant who wish to commit major sins with non-mahram women. 15 - Prevention of harm; based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Ahzab 33:59].
O Shaykh, I do not have the opportunity now to bring all the evidence I presented to them. The people understand me, but some of them have let the evidence of Muhammad Nasir al-Din enter their heads, to the extent that they uncovered the veil from the faces of their women and did not care about it. I ask your eminence for a written answer that strengthens the hijab of Muslim women and addresses the uncovering of the face and the greeting.
A: It is obligatory for a woman to cover her face and her hands from non-mahram men, and it is forbidden for her to uncover them for anyone other than her mahrams. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

(30) Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do. (31) And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women.
