Wearing Black for Women

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 7523 )
Q5: What is the ruling on women wearing black, and what is the meaning of the statement of the Mother of the Believers A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) in the report: (… and it was as if there were on their heads

The crows)? Vol. 5: It is permissible for women to wear black and other colors that do not involve imitating men. As for the statement of A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her): ("...as if there were crows on their heads"), it is her praise of the Muslim women for their compliance with the command of hijab, and it implies that that clothing was black in color. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
