One who referred to his wife as "my children"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 20229 )
Q2: What is the ruling on a man referring to his wife to his companions as "my children" ? For example, instead of saying "my wife did it" or "my wife went," he says "my children did it" or "my children went"?
A2: We are not aware of any prohibition regarding this wording. However, if he said "the mother of my children," that would be better and further from lying. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
