A mother of eight children who had a dispute with her husband that led to divorce, and the husband took the children, and she is now unmarried; does she have the right

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A mother of eight children, three daughters and five sons, who had a dispute with her husband that led to divorce, and the husband took the children and left her. She says she is now unmarried. Does she have the right to live with her children in one house or not? Knowing that they are eight children, and the husband has married another woman, and her children are now under the care of his second wife. She says she is afraid for her children because the husband is often away from home due to his work, and her eldest child is of adolescent age, which requires care. Is she allowed to take her children to her or not?

The Shaykh : This issue is very important and problematic, and only a judge can resolve it. So I refer the questioner to the judge in their area, and we ask Allah the Exalted to grant him success in reaching the correct decision.
