Q: I heard on the Nida al-Islam radio station from Makkah al-Mukarramah that the children of a woman who does not pray are children of fornication. What should I do with the children who were born before my wife started praying? Are they children of fornication?
A: Your children from your wife before her repentance from abandoning prayer are considered
your children due to the presence of the semblance of marriage. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
