The Shaykh : The noble verse to which he referred is the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Baqarah 2:233], and this verse does not indicate that it is necessary to use contraceptive pills during this period, because using contraceptive pills is contrary to what is appropriate, for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded marrying the loving and fertile woman, and there is no doubt that the multiplication of the community is a source of honor, strength, and security for it. For this reason, Allah bestowed this upon the Children of Israel in His saying: [Al-Isra 17:6], and He mentioned the people of Shu‘ayb with it when He said: [Al-A'raf 7:86], so what is appropriate for the Muslim community is to increase the causes of multiplying offspring as much as they are able. And if it is decreed that a woman becomes pregnant during breastfeeding and then the milk decreases, then Allah the Exalted will provide another means for this child to be breastfed from. Allah the Exalted said: [At-Talaq 65:6], and Allah the Mighty and Majestic does not deprive His servants of their provision, as He said: [Hud 11:6].

وَالْوَالِدَاتُ يُرْضِعْنَ أَوْلادَهُنَّ حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُتِمَّ الرَّضَاعَةَand made you more numerous in manpower
وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ أَكْثَرَ نَفِيرًاwhen you were few and He increased you
إِذْ كُنتُمْ قَلِيلًا فَكَثَّرَكُمْbut if you are in discord, then there may breastfeed for the father another woman.
وَإِنْ تَعَاسَرْتُمْ فَسَتُرْضِعُ لَهُ أُخْرَىAnd there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision, and He knows its place of dwelling and place of storage. All is in a clear register.
وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ فِي الأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا وَيَعْلَمُ مُسْتَقَرَّهَا وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَا كُلٌّ فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍThe questioner : May Allah reward you.
