1 - Permanent Prohibition
The ninth question of Fatwa No. ( 6471 )
Q9: A woman left her young son behind during the migration, then the enemy took him, cared for him, and adopted him as a son. When he grew up, he married, and it turned out he had married his sister due to lack of knowledge. When they had a child, the husband learned that his wife was his full sister. What is the ruling regarding them, and what is the ruling regarding the child? Was the child born in sin or born in Islam?
A9: If the situation is as described, that they were unaware of their kinship at the time of marriage, then they are excused, and they must be separated. The child is attributed to them because he was born from intercourse based on a misconception.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
