Q2: What is the ruling on temporary marriage in Islam?
A: 2 Temporary marriage is: the marriage of pleasure (mut'ah), and it is an invalid marriage by the consensus of the people of the Sunnah and the community; because it was abrogated by what is established in the authentic hadiths regarding the prohibition of it. And what is such is an invalid marriage, and intercourse through it is considered unlawful sexual intercourse (zina), and the rulings of zina apply to the one who commits it, provided he is aware of its invalidity. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
