Q3: What is the ruling on conditioning a sum of money for the daughter on the wedding night? Knowing that the daughter's family has already received the entire mahr, the jewelry, and what is required for the marriage, but this is a custom adopted by some societies, where they give the matter to the daughter's mother and the daughter, in conditioning a high sum, and the husband cannot have intercourse with his wife on the wedding night except with this sum, and if he does not pay it, problems may arise and lead to divorce. What is the ruling of Islam
in such a condition, and does the saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him):Sunan an-Nasa'i 4656Sahih (Darussalam) , apply to this hadith.
